Windows 8 has reached the RTM milestone!

This non-N build definitely works better, with N i had strange bugs and I noticed that system protection regarding restore points was off by default which is weird for a Windows release. In fact now with non N it is like it should be now let's wait for an activation

Last but not least, on my MacBook Pro with bootcamp it still freezes, I haven't tried with this Enterprise yet but it's probably related to drivers at this point and i remember Microsoft fixed these issues before RTM.

 

Now we only have to find out, how to unlock the customization Options in the Metro control Panel.

 

Currently on Win 7 X64.

Do i upgrade to Win 8 X64... That is the question!

you cannot upgrade. only clean install

 

I am the only one who has a problem with ATI driver for my HD7870 ?

Nope. ATI drivers for Win8 are garbage. Nvidia already has a nice unified package released. There are threads all over roasting ATI about this fail.

Found : I can't post the link , but driver of the 12 June , 9.00 unofficial beta , work for me

 

i use the 12 June , 9.00 unofficial beta installed ok but still got issues with open gl and still can't play angry birds

 

I don't test Angry Bird / OpenGL , i just install this driver because the others don't install :/

 

I can see why the birds are angry Maybe with real official released drivers they're gonna be happy birds

Apart from the color customization lock, is the Enterprise Non-N version usable? Will it lock me out 30 days after install and force me to activate, or will it run forever in this unactivated mode? How about the shutdown every 2 hours? Is it there?

for install an enterprise x86 version i need a key like a preview ver or only click next...?

 

Any news on the Professional ver. of win 8 RTM ?
Both x64 and x86 ENT N & non N are uploaded; so i'm guessing pro will follow?
