well watermark don't bother me that much and windows will stay fully working apart the customization without activation so not worried for the moment
Using Clean Water to remove the Desktop Watermark doesn't effect Metro Apps - tested and working. I initially removed the Desktop Watermark by using My_WCP_Watermark_Editor but this stopped the Metro apps from working (they would crash before opening) To fix the issue, I used My_WCP_Watermark_Editor to restore the Desktop Watermark then I used Clean Water to remove the Watermark - even though it uses My_WCP_Watermark_Editor it seems to have worked. (will keep an eye on it and will report any issues)
Anyone know where or how to change the Lock Screen Background Images? Able to change the Account Picture but now looking to change the Lockscreen background.
I'm using Enterprise x64 for a couple of hours and an "Activate Windows" watermark appeared on the lower-right corner of my screen. It's really annoying. How can I get rid of it?
Reading about windows 8 "core".. Is that the basic version of windows 8? And just by using core key you will get the basic version using professional image?
has anybody tried to figure out why? if clean water uses My_WCP_Watermark_Editor it can only be a little thing that makes the difference
he he he, well I never realized you could re-run CleanWater and it would remove the watermark for another 3 to 8 hours (depending on how it feels). I'll keep trying ideas to get it to stay away without interrupting your workflow (maybe we can refresh explorer without having to close it right down, first I need to find a way to invoke the overlayed watermark so i don't have to wait up to 8 hours to test it). -EDIT- Well I just captured an Active VM in Virtualbox with the Watermark shown, so now I can start testing ways to reduce it's presence
Ok so it seem's in windows 8 pro edition the watermark is not coming back after 3 hours instead of that u get a metro message screen to active windows and u can just quit it.
JFYI, Reverting to default settings (using My_WCP_Watermark_Editor directly) and reboot, makes Metro app to work again.
