    I ran a dism get-packages after exporting and mounting the pro version from the W8 RTM install.wim and only see 2 entries.

    I want to update the W8Pro wim offline with KUC, but the above list doesn't seem right to me. I don't have Win8 installed yet
    and ran dism from Win7. Is it possible to update this way?

    How do the people who bought Windows 8 get these hotfix updates?
    I checked in Windows update none of these appear.
    Just a doubt,i didn't bought Windows 8. :p

    nothing is wrong. the Pro version have just this 2 packages in default

    yes it is possible

    Thanks .. Also, can someone explain the differences in the fixes that start with Windows6.2-KB and Windows8-RT-KB?

    RT confused me at first since I thought it was ARM related. I'm wondering why Ms just didn't keep the 6.2 convention since
    the fixes have architecture ids anyway.

    Updates for Windows 8 coming out this Tuesday:
    So two really big updates. One of them directly supersedes KB2751352 apparently, although is around 40 times larger! These must be two update packs like we have seen before, considering one is just over 160MB and the other just over 116MB for 64-bit.

    KB 2267602 any solution to hide this update cos i cant hide it my wind update always freeze and always remind me for this update

    i dont use windows defender

    The reason it keeps coming back is because a new one is released every day, to solve this you should disable Windows Defender

    Settings -> Administrator & uncheck Turn on Windows Defender
