Same here. There are 2 big ones. 1st (163MB) is an update for digital singnature and 2nd (142MB) a cumulative Update like the last big patch
Guys, when updating, leave the machine do its job. It might take quite while. Do not interrupt the update process as this will end in a total mess. wait and have a drink or two in the meantime depending on your machine's speed
all the latest update installed ok but Update for Windows 8, Windows RT, and Windows Server 2012 (KB2770917)(142MB) fails every time it gets to 15% on the install anyone else having this problem? thanks
My updates went smoothly but noticed something a bit strange. My server (AMD APU Machine) = Windows Server 2012 Standard - 9 updates = 196MB My computer (Intel Z77 Machine) = Windows Server 2012 Standard (running as desktop/workstation) - 9 updates = 330MB Weird that my computer had alot more "MB" heh
What happens when you integrate all updates (including those old ones which have been superceded) into ISO ? Does integration/slipstream process *somehow* knows which files are superceded by which etc ? or do I manually have to find & delete superceded files before I integrate/slipstream to ISO ?
Same problem here with KB 2770917. CBS.log says: 2012-11-14 02:21:55, Info CBS Progress: UI message updated. Operation type: Update. Stage: 1 out of 1. all will be integrated without Differentiation and the superseded will remains actually the "KB2770917" updates supersedes some components of the original update Windows8-RT-KB2770917-x86.msu
its a "fix" not update.. and cannot be integrated you can add it to run as a "First run command" through answer file.. or "setupcomplete.cmd"
i dont know wtf another problem this update for wind. defender is ok it dont show me anymore but yesterday i click search and found me all new updates its ok but i click down. it show me 100,5MB downloading and cca 20 min it show me always 0 %. wupd not freeze so i dont know what to do i run sfc and this is ok heeeeelp
This EXE only (sets some stuff to isViewable="true") fixes/edits ie9props.propdesc in %ProgramFiles%\Internet Explorer and/or %ProgramFiles(x86)\Internet Explorer, try mounting and adding the updated propdesc files to your image see if you still get pestered by WU for the update
as ricktendo64 said.. the manually is the proper way but you have to "Take Ownership" of the file before you can replace it
