There used to be a great number of updates not publicly available, or available yet (even through the request system) that were provided by someone called 'SoLoR'. They haven't been around for a long time in terms of Windows updates, it's possible that the inside source is no longer in a position to have access to these updates. It was a 'sad' day when these packs ceased to exist, for the enthusiast crowd such as the purpose of the hotfix repository. Of course, it has been taken up by McRip and Komm, but like I was saying SoLoR just had that access which others don't.
Take a look at them- all but one of the core updates contain LDR. ----------- McRip- a couple updates can be removed from the repo: KB2768703 (superseded by KB2756872) KB2764954 (superseded by KB2770917) ----------- vymrdal- that McRib sandwich = mmmmmm
Ah it's changed then! There comes a point where that happens, I hadn't actually checked to see how the latest updates were
McRip, KB2737084 is listed as added in the changelog however it is missing from the repo. Also as PointZero pointed out both KB2764954 and KB2768703 are now obsoleted and can be removed from the repo.
same here. I only download the updates which come directly from MS. If there are none, no download needed. Sometimes, there are only few "special" files for extreme configuration which need those extra updates but normal life is automated
