You had your chance. But seriously, you need to grab hotfixes quickly because sometimes they're pulled soon after release (as happened with this one). When (if) the repo comes back, it'll be available there. Or you'll be able to get it with the next release of KUC.
I just hope hes OK health wise Maybe if somebody donated a FTP space that could help. PointZero has been keeping up the repo locally, all he needs is upload space
McRip's last message to me had no indication that there were any problems. He sent me a couple new updates to check out and seemed happy that he was about to spend two weeks on vacation at the beach. I'm concerned about him. I do hope he is okay. -------------- Here is the complete current changelog since the last repo update on July 15. Thanks much to komm for all his work with this month's large release of updates. He should have a new version of KUC for Win8 out within the day. add: Spoiler KB890830-V5.3 (Additional/KB890830.Microsoft.Windows.Malicious.Software.Removal.Tool) KB931125(August 2013 Update for Root Certificates).exe KB2736469 KB2770816 KB2781406-v2 KB2800033 KB2800945 KB2821895 KB2840632-v2 KB2844289-v2 (Additional/NET35) KB2846340-v2 KB2846774 KB2849470 KB2853422 KB2853772 KB2856373 KB2856677 (Additional/NET35) KB2859413 KB2859791 KB2860842 KB2862019 KB2862064 KB2862069-v2 (Additional/NET35) KB2862768 KB2862772 KB2862966 KB2862973 KB2863058 KB2863339 KB2865197 KB2865658 KB2866345 KB2866485 KB2867201 KB2868623 KB2870381 KB2870712 KB2870719 (Additional/IIS) KB2871286 KB2871318 (Additional/Integrate to installation media) KB2871343-v2 remove: Spoiler KB890830-V5.2 (Additional/KB890830.Microsoft.Windows.Malicious.Software.Removal.Tool) (superseded by KB890830-V5.3) KB931125(May 2013 Update for Root Certificates).exe (superseded by KB931125(August 2013 Update for Root Certificates).exe) KB2772930 (superseded by KB2800945) KB2777166-x64 (superseded by KB2866485-x64 & KB2862772 & KB2871286) KB2781197-v2 (superseded by KB2856373) KB2791372-v2 (superseded by KB2870712) KB2797356-v2 (superseded by KB2862768 & KB2836988) KB2832418 (Additional/NET35) KB2833738 (superseded by KB2870381) KB2833958 (superseded by KB2862064) KB2833959 (Additional/NET35) (superseded by KB2862069) KB2836946-v2 (Additional/NET35) (superseded by KB2862069) KB2837407-v2 (superseded by KB2867201) KB2840632 (superseded by KB2840632-v2) KB2844289 (Additional/NET35) (superseded by KB2844289-v2) KB2846071 (superseded by KB2862772) KB2846340 (superseded by KB2846340-v2) KB2848805 (Additional/NET35) KB2850851 (superseded by KB2781406-v2) KB2853915 (superseded by KB2862768) KB2856657-v2 (superseded by KB2865658) KB2859160 (superseded by KB2862768) KB2865893 (superseded by KB2862768)

this is my setupcomplete... installs all ok... Code: @ECHO OFF cd %~dp0 start /wait Silverlight_x64.exe /Q start /wait Windows-KB890830-x64-V5.3.exe /Q start /wait KB2772501-x64-all-fixiepropschema start /wait KB931125-x64.exe /Q:A /R:N start /wait KB2798897-rvkroots.exe /Q:A /R:N start /wait delmigprov.exe start /wait wusa.exe Windows8-RT-KB2770816-x64.msu /quiet /norestart start /wait wusa.exe Windows8-RT-KB2853772-x64.msu /quiet /norestart start /wait wusa.exe Windows8-RT-KB2771431-x64.msu /quiet /norestart RMDIR /S /Q "C:\Windows\Setup\Scripts" exit
Ahh okay, I ran the commands back to back and assumed each would wait until the other was done. I will use the start /wait method and see what happens. I currently run everything via RunOnceEX, but I can't recall why I chose to do that though. Code: REG ADD %KEY%\152 /VE /D "Installing KB2770816 (no wim integration)" /f REG ADD %KEY%\152 /V 1 /D "wusa Z:\$W8i\@Addons\XtraUpdates\Windows8-RT-KB2770816-x86.msu /quiet /norestart" /f
does anyone have KB2879488 x64? also I have a KUC question, it says this next to some updates remove/add "The version of this update is lower than that of the reference(6.2.2.0)!" what does that mean?
Yes, komm has it. Use KUC to download it for now. It'll be added to the repo here soon. "The version of this update is lower than that of the reference(6.2.2.0)!" means you've got an old version of an update. There is a newer version (i.e "-v2") of the update that shows that msg.
