Update for Win8. Thanks much to komm for this info. For now, use komm's KUC utility to get KB2894513. It'll be added here at a later time. Another update (including for Win8.1 & .NET 4.5.1) will happen in the next couple days. Windows 7 no, there is not MSU for it only a MSI installer...For Windows 8 there is a MSU that you can extract and integrate
Assuming that we integrate windows8-rt-kb2881468-x64.msu to Windows 8 RTM iso, we do not have to integrate any more update or hotfix related to Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5, right?
thanks for the info , i has 1 question : My pc os is windows 7 , i use DISM to integrated windows 8.1 in offline mode , but cant integrated it , the DISM show Error:0Xc0000135 , so i try to use KUC to integrated it but will show the Error Bad File Format Deployment Servicing and Management tool Version: 6.1.7600.16385 An error occurred While attempting to start the servicing process for the image located at C:\W81 For more information review the log file. The DISM log file can be found at C:\KUC\DISM.log but integrated Windows 8 is no problem , have any stuff has know what problem for it ? and how to solve the problem ? thanks for the info
You need to use the dism from the ADK from 8.1. Servicing an 8.1 wim with dism from Win7 isn't a good idea.
What we really need is a self-aware DISM front-end that determines what version it is servicing (via get-wiminfo command) and automagically uses the correct DISM for each task without the end-user having to get involved.
McRip has apparently taken the repo server offline, so I can't complete this update. I'll post this though so everyone can hopefully use this as a guide, for now. .NET 4.5.1 for Win8 (KB2881468) would've been added to the repo. Just a heads-up: if you're planning to upgrade to Win8.1 soon, it would be best not to install it since it possibly could introduce problems during the upgrade (and it's not needed for Win8.1). All the updates in the "Removed" category are Win8 .NET 4.5 updates (except for KB2863058). There were a couple .NET 4.5 updates that weren't completely superseded (KB2862064 & KB2889893), so they remain in the repo. Repo Not Updated Added: KB2881468 KB2885699 KB2890882 Windows8.1-KB2693643 (Win8.1 only/RSAT) Windows6.3-KB2835517 (Win8.1 only/Media Feature Pack for N and KN versions) Windows8.1-KB2882342.cab (Win8.1 only/Integrate to Installation Media) Windows8.1-KB2890139.cab (Win8.1 only/Integrate to Installation Media) Windows8.1-KB2892082.cab (Win8.1 only/Integrate to Installation Media) Windows8.1-KB2895233.cab (Win8.1 only/Integrate to Installation Media) Windows8.1-KB2896394 (Win8.1 only/Integrate to Installation Media) Windows8.1-KB2898742 (Win8.1 only) Removed: KB2737084 (superseded by KB2881468) KB2742614 (superseded by KB2881468) KB2769674 (superseded by KB2881468) KB2803755-v3 (superseded by KB2881468) KB2805222 (superseded by KB2881468) KB2805227 (superseded by KB2881468) KB2828842-v2 (superseded by KB2881468) KB2840632-v2 (superseded by KB2881468) KB2848799-v2 (superseded by KB2881468) KB2861702 (superseded by KB2881468) KB2863058 (superseded by KB2890882)
How do I download the updates, especially the cab files, since the repo is not updated? The cab files cannot be obtained via hotfix request page.
