That does not necessary reflect actual applicability check update.mum SSU KB5065767 says "Windows 8.1 Server;Windows 8.1 WinPE", but it install fine on Windows 8.1 Client
EDIT : You did good to remind me because after manually testing it, unlike NT6.3 , the IE CU for NT6.2 still installs all the necessary files on Client (with mod) and Embedded ! Only the Embedded-specific files will not be installed since the packages are removed. I was expecting the same behaviour as NT6.3 Client where some important files got removed. So ironically it turns out NT6.2 got an advantage over NT6.3 in this case... However to install upcoming IE CU releases on Client and Embedded, using a modded SSU will become necessary : https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-8-1-hotfix-repository.47590/page-188#post-1889681 Also updated my two previous posts with new information : https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-8-hotfix-repository.35675/page-60#post-1885889 https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-8-hotfix-repository.35675/page-60#post-1889952
Well, in that case i justed wanted to point that update.mum (and other packages) applicability is what matter, not what pkgProperties.txt says
