    Samsung New_PC_Studio_1.5.1.10064_2.exe installs but within starting it give an NPS Error without any more information. Also try to use in Compatibility Mode Windows 7, Vista and XP didn't works.

    I would like to use with Samsung Galaxy Spice GT-i5700 Android 2.1

    I now tested again while installing W7 on my laptop and Kies 2.0 works. Changed the HDD back to the Windows 8 HDD and Kies didn't work. Reinstalled the same.

    That means Samsung Kies 2.0 has problems with Windows 8 Pro.

    Not sure... but Kies 2.5.1 works normally here under Windows 8 Pro.

    Comodo added support for Windows 8 in v5.12.256249.2599.
    That was the last v5 build before v6 was released, but the GUI on v6 sucks big time.

    Alcohol 120% v2.0.2.3931 Retail can't be installed, not even in Windows-7-Compatibility-Mode.

    For the Galaxy Spica GT-i5700 could use Kies 2.0 only and that didn't work on Windows 8 Pro. Seems to be not compatible with 2.5.1 I'll download and check what will happen.

    I can't believe it, but I still can't install it. After choosing the language I get always told that I would have to re-boot the PC.

    Unfortunately still no luck with it, but I will have a look tomorrow if maybe VirtualCD v10.xx is causing the problem, even that I shut it down before I try to install Alcohol 120%.

    Update:

    33. Windows Mobile Device Center v6-1-6965 includes library RAPI.DLL, which crashes while Windows Media Player x64 is launched.

    34. Piriform Recuva v1-45-858 - It doesn't support ReFS.

    Good news:
    1. OpenVPN v2-3-0 I005 now includes OpenVPN GUI v3 and is now fully compatible with W8.

    3. LightScribe Control Panel + Diagnostic Utility v1-18-27-10 is now fully compatible with W8.
