I changed DNS server to Google DNS, but, when I reboot, my mobile stick return to "normal" dns, so i can't to that (the activation didn't work anyway, because the server was offline yesterday)
I'm using wifi modem and running normally, just wait for a new method since today some people will gain keys from MSDN/Technet
use DNS JUMPER download it from here sordum.net/dns_jumper/2010x07x09/DnsJumper.zip and apply it on all nw cards View attachment 16652
I'm certain it's a legitimately activated KMS. From the KMS server's PID it can be seen that the first public one was based on Server 2008 R2 SP1, the second one on Server 2012, and they were most likely set up with the same host key.
hit-nxdomain.opendns.com = 67.215.65.132 =x= benderrodriguez-1-pt.tunnel.tserv28.waw1.ipv6.he.net The ip "67.215.65.132" is an openDNS!!
A few PCBeta guys reported just activated their copies(about 1/2 hours ago), any confirmation that the server is alive?
It doesn't resolve to an IP address, so there is no way to even try to ping it. All it means is that you've got crappy DNS servers set that redirect non-existing domains.
I don't think the KMS server owner made all those mirror links. I think other people have made them and the server owner has taken the server offline to stop being tracked down. There was a reason he was using a IPv6 tunnel broker to try and mask his ID :/
So with out being able to activate using a bootleg KMS server windows 8 expires within 7 days, hopefully a new server will show up however, I just want to use the leaked win8 until I can purchase it, any other way of extending the 7day limit ? will reverting the system date extend the limit ? how about make a image file or backup key system files ?
You can always rearm your copy of Win 8 by executing slmgr -rearm command in Admin cmd mode. If you haven't activated yet this will extend your validity to an extra 30 days.
Pinging the server only means that it is available on the internet for you to connect to. You can even ping kmc-no-ip.org (the very first KMS server.). What matters is whether the KMS service is up & running on this machine or not & that is it available for activation.
Where is this 7 day coming from? If you activated when the server was online then your grace is 180 days. Sure, the machine will keep trying every now and then to reactivate but it won't be until day 179 where you really need to find another KMS server to activate against.
