I find the number of people that ask questions clearly answered in the first post astoundingly shocking. The public KMS servers are going to come and go. Microsoft is playing whack a-mole. If the server is properly protected behind a Tor network they will just target the dynamic DNS service and serve a takedown request. If not protected the owners of the server could be answering some tough questions. I vote we start a new thread which advertises working public KMS servers, link to it on this threads OP and then maybe people that can read don't have to wade through comments about "Not Working" servers while there are none online. The fact is unless there is a further hidden time bomb you can still use Win 8 in the grace period so don't panic if you have a few nags and a watermark on your desktop

Continually watching and following all instructions from last 15-16 hrs online...No Success... May be tomorrow or day after there should be some concrete solution..
Confirmed all servers offline......EVERYONE find a forum you trust and looks busy. just watch and wait till somebody posts a success. then try that method. If pinging the server results in a no ping then the dude saying he just got activated is "probably lying".
