Windows 8 KMS Activation

    I haven't checked but my guess is the MSDN Windows 8 ISO may contain a 30 day grace period before activation.

    The WZOR Windows 8 ISO probably contained some sort of tracking software or component that reports back to M$ to record the IP and MAC address of the users downloading it from torrent or other illegal sources. If you signed in using your M$ account, then that will be logged as well. The build number is the same just to fool us in thinking it's the real deal RTM, but the MSDN ISO is actually the real Windows 8 ISO that will be shipped out on Oct 26.

    Anybody think this could be the case? Looks like M$ is smarter than we thought.

    If they are exactly the same, then why are the hashes different? Something must be added or removed.

    I agree with you totally and I know, that isos are identical ones in terms of os but not hash. Anyway, future can bring out some gangsters saying, my iso is perfect and after all it turns out that it is loaded with malware etcetera. So I only can recommend to download a language specific os with a hash, that is confirmed. Again, i have no doubts on what is released from WZOR until now.

    I have the leaked Windows 8 x64 Enterprise edition installed on my machine and have activated it by the KMS Server. If I was to download the MSDN version of Windows 8 x64 Enterprise Edition - could I install this version and then copy over the backup of the Activation folder (store) and would it then activate this version?

    Hello all ! :)
    I installed Windows 8 PRO x64 ! But there isn't KSM server ON-LINE. :(
    I test "7TKKMSA v1.5.1" & "ActivationHelper" but nothing.

    But for the "loader" : "7TKKMSA v1.5.1" & "ActivationHelper" , not steal passwords or other ? Not a virus ?

    Is there an eval for the PRO version as well? couldn't find it on the site...

    Yes, you need to activate in period of 10 days after install...

    geeks and pals, i seem to be able to ping benderrodriguez-1-pt.tunnel.tserv28.waw1.ipv6.he.net(just now), however, activation still stalls with error, just tell me wat i'm missing, (i've syncronized time successfully, conected gogo6 correctly

    as someone already stated getting a ping reply doesn't necessarily mean that the server is accepting activations at the moment
