as someone already stated getting a ping reply doesn't necessarily mean that the server is accepting activations at the moment

It could be a text file, a name change of something, a property.
Yes something was changed, but it might as well be a spelling correction or an ISO rebuild.
The RTM version that was leaked might have been RTM but had licenses messed up so they quickly fixed that before larger release.
    Anyways OFFTOPIC.

I think that by September there are big chances that a new KMS server will pop, just be patient.

from what I know about evaluations, it should activate automatically for the 90 days after that am sure there will be a KMS server to activate it.

So, I think that this Enterprise version must have came with "official KMS server" from microsoft, is that true? and if it's true, is there any chance to extract the server address?

Well, the add features to windows 8 feature is more than what it seems, from what I've heard. It isn't just capable of adding windows 8 features with a product key, it's also capable of removing features, and possibly deactivating windows entirely based on not meeting acceptable activation requirements, and the primary way it does this is by users willingly associating their windows accounts to their windows 8 installations, which more or less makes you subject to Microsoft legal criteria where you essentially accept having your copy of windows checked against a set of activation/authenticity requirements that are expected to be more strict than the ones usually placed in windows updates to check if your copy is genuine, primarily because a windows account gains you access to the Microsoft App Store, and it is acceptable legally to have greater protections in place to prevent users of pirated software to be treated as equal citizens on their online commerce platform. This becomes near impossible for Microsoft to contain and manage a week before release of Windows 8, but they'll be extremely efficient at targeting and zapping, for lack of a better term, copies of windows that don't meet their activation requirements. The windows updates warning is just my personal opinion, not based on anything I've heard. However, associating your windows account with Windows 8 too soon before the retail release of the OS, where many, many more users will be onboard and far more difficult to micro manage carries a risk with it. So, I'd hold off on tying your windows accounts to your copy just yet. In fact, it's safer to associate your windows account on an unactivated copy of win 8 as opposed to one activated via the popular kms method many have used.

Better question is, why on earth would anyone do that? I'm not aware that the MSDN version is any different than what we had, despite the hash.
