Yes, it will expire in 180 days. You can keep "reactivating" it once a week or once a month to extend that 180 days period until a permanent solution shows up in this forum Moonrak
Thank, if i do a backup the license files spp dir and keep these after a formatting the HDD, is it recovery my 180 days?
I can confirm this, just tried the latest KMS server for fun and it put me back at 180 days Just hoping a KMS server is still available by the time I get my new GPU next week.
If your entering 3 different commands, the 3rd one should clear the KMS server (1st sets the KMS, 2nd activates with KMS, 3rd clears KMS server)
Here is a simple way to learn all the slmgr commands and what they do. Run the command prompt in administrator mode then type slmgr and hit enter. There you will find all you need to know.
I just use "Win 8 Reg Hack.bat" as admin . It completely removed "the windows not acivated". And removed the watermark on the desktop. ** windows activation "blank" ** ** Product ID: Not Available. ** And after that for how long I can use windows 8 ( 30,90 days or less )? P.S. sorry for bad english I am form Croatia . edit : when I try slmgr -xpr , I get error that I have "running computer with Microsoft Windows non-core edition .. "
That is not an activation crack it is a hacktivation. Your system is not activated!!!! It just removes the watermark and activation status of your system. Using that is a good way to mess up your system.
Ok, I uninstall that and will try kms activation.Thx for quick reply. Edit : I just activated windows 8 enterprise x64 with this prog Windows8KMSActivator and edit this server kms.stju.edu.cn . Licence expires on 28.3.2013.
If you've accidentally installed a media center key: Is there any way to remove media center and all traces of it having been installed - so you can go back to being able to KMS activate? This is on 8 Professional x64
Thanks for the response Tito. I ran your downgrader, and then inserted the original disc, but once it starts my only options for "Choose what to keep" are "Keep personal files only" -or- "Nothing." It doesn't seem like I'm able to upgrade properly and keep all my currently installed programs/settings etc. I've tried both booting straight to the disc, and from within Windows itself. Am I doing something wrong?
