    reset your internet setings to as it was original as this server is no tunnel and no IPV6. Just use default settings and you go

    dude i also activated from this and no issues use the time zone (+5:30 Delhi,Mumbai) it worked for me

    yup...I understand. I used a tool ....unable to remember the exact name of time..but after using it...I uninstall it and I didn't change any internet settings though !!

    That server is working fine i just activated my other computer with that server and i didn't use google dns and it activated win8 just fine,so that problem is something else than that kms server.

    Just got Win8 Pro activated using the recently mentioned KMS.
    Nothing special was done prior - no time sync, no Google DNS - just used the command line as admin. Good luck to others. :biggrin:

    I installed successfully..but isn't activated yet...

    I get this after the second line: "slmgr.vbs -ato"

    KMS is working fine. Check firewall settings. Try to switch DNS to open or google DNS.....

    1. Time Zone is perfect
    2. Turned off firewall
    3. opened cmd with admin right

    still the same error

    Edit: which server am I supposed to pick in the Time settings?

    Sync the local time with Time.Windows.com...that might work
