No,KMS server activations last only for 180 days...so u have to reactivate once again before the 180 days come to an end...& you will get 180 days more activation
Outlook.com=Windows Live Id....they are the same guys...plz stay on topic..we don't want the thread to get locked again
Tpye: slmgr -ipk <CDKEY> slmgr -ato <CDKEY> should be the gvl key for your windows edition. You can find it via google search or in the first post, if you have pro.
seems that a slmgr /ato results other than slmgr -ato please check your correct entries in command prompt as there are big differences
Paul I have noticed that too. Whenever I type in the commands to activate kms these are the commands I use: slmgr -skms "server address" hit enter slmgr -ato hit enter slmgr -ckms hit enter Note that the last command is not necessary to activate as it just clears the server address. It is also very important that people hit enter after each command. Also, for all those who wonder what these commands do, in the command prompt just type slmgr and hit enter and a help window will pop up and give an explanation of what all the commands do. I just don't know why activating is so difficult for some and as you have stated many times the syncing of the time seems to be very critical some users.
I always use slmgr -" " for all my commands. Maybe these issues have to do with location, ISP and government filtering. I am in the USA, I have a feeling that some of these issues in activating are related to the variables I just mentioned.
So, let us question the EXPERTS in this forum to get us a clear answer, which method is usual/international??
