Thank you friend. Testing now. Will get back to you (probably a PM) to let you know how it went... EDIT: Solved!! Thanx a ton!!
It's still confusing because the editions of Server 2012 are "Standard" and "Datacenter". There isn't a version of "Windows Server 2012 Core", or even "Windows Server 2012 Core N" (they're not doing N versions of server), but they're listing keys for it. You've already been told that this is the wrong place to ask.
These are the non-GUI versions of Standard and Datacenter. They only have a different set of preinstalled features, but they're the same editions and take the same keys.
Thanks for the support everyone. I successfully activated in my PC, but I can't seem to get it activated in my Laptop. Installed the same Enterprise x64 edition. Error: No KMS could be contacted. Is it the keys? Can someone provide me with a working Enterprise key?? and how can I change the key??
Why can't activated forever with this kms, i remember that there were previous ksm to activ wind8 with not expiration (all these kms are locked by our mother Ms )
KMS has always been 180 days and then re-activate. This is nothing new, been like this since Vista times.
for those who did not clear the mooo address with -ckms can run the elevated command with slmgr -ato only. there is no need to repeat server address all the time. BUT when the server changes, you need to type the new address of course. This is just for the lazy ones among us ... lol
