Hey guys, wondering if there are any KMS servers still active. I've tried pinging win8kms4.mooo.com, kms.sjtu.edu.cn, 91.149.135.121, and kms.creighton.edu. All them timeout. Are they down, or is my network just blocking them?

Guys, I don't wanna browse through 255 pages... Can you just tell me if that mooo server and KMS activation in general is permanent? Or when the server goes down the activation is dead too? I'm not sure if I should install Win8 as my daily driver yet. Cheers.
@PaulDesmond - Regarding the time/date sync we talked about awhile back, I did a quick test and it'd appear that even a couple of hours out of sync aren't an issue,but somewhere between that and 9 hours is where activation breaks.. I did repeat on 2 additional machines with the same result. I wonder if such big tolerance for the correct time is present,why some people seem to solve their issues by syncing their clocks No one expects you to read all 255 pages,but you are expected to at least read the bloody OP, because spamming this thread is frowned upon. If you had bothered to read the thing,you'd know that
The operating system and Core Edition Wimdows 32 x 86, I read of the various time synchronizations, living in Italy, where do I set the time, thanks!!
Sailor, it seems you have only CORE installed. You must install PRO or ENTERPRISE version and only then you can activate via KMS. After you installed PRO, set your time zone to Italy and activate by using the KMS server

Just some questions, now that is activated, i only have to disable automatic updates?? Is there something "hidden" that would check my non-genuine activation? (or is it genuine?)
Buddy, you are activated absolutely official as if you were in an office or such institution elsewhere on this planet. Of course you can update your W8 copy as often as you like to. This is the beauty of KMS After 180 days you must renew, but I'm sure you know this
No need to disable automatic update. It's genuine for 180 days after which you will have to activate it again.
oh ok, thank you i didn't checked after the activation, but now i see that it will end on 1st April 2013.
latest April 1st but you can do it once in while, say every two months when a server is just online and so you add another 180 days to your activation of today
