on this page: bidb.gazi.edu.tr/posts/view/title/ms-windows-vista-7-8-ve-office-2010%E2%80%99u-etkinlestirme-31365 they are saying "you can activate your windows vista - 7 - 8". and i activated my windows 8 pro with this kms. I dont know if it's only internal-network, because i'm already in their campus. sorry for miscommunication but it's their server (.edu.tr), their .bat file, their "how-to activate" instructions and i think i'm not the one to blame here. i just wanted to help.
Well by posting it you did imply that it was another public server. Lucky for you, but it won't work for anyone else (unless you intend to make the server accessible through a tunnel...)
ungrateful bastards...someone is making something public he thinks others might find usefull and the only thing you guys can do is make a fool of this individual. The attitude and tone of the replies of some off you 'experts' really has to change quickly or otherwise this topic will be locked/deleted for good
You're right, sorry. I interpreted the post as a troll post because the host name has no way of working on the Internet and the video isn't proof because it shows Windows 7; he didn't say it was his actual on-campus server. My intention was to make it clear that the server isn't going to work on the Internet for anyone.
Question is at the 1st place, why it is even allowed here as it doesn't research KMS communication and only serves as the place for sharing pirated KMS servers... )
Forgive me if my attitude seems inappropriate. If we encourage every college student to locate the kms server used by their institution and then post what they find here, the thread could quickly clutter with useless information. We all know that a properly configured server would not be exposed to the internet.
A question about KMS activation Does anyone know why Microsoft had to allow activation by KMS using public IPs and no only private? Can this be fixed by MS?
What's the difference, public vs private ip's, aside from totally arbitrary conventions of what addresses should or should not be allowed to pass through routers?
KMS Activation is mainly used for corporate system only! As there a lot companies on this planet with a lot outlet's in a lot different countries, using the same licenses, the only way to handle those activation's efficiently is by using both: private an public IP's! And if YOU're using KMS to activate YOUR Windows 8 using Microsoft's Client keys over and with an public available KMS Server, you should be happy instead of asking for to close that channel!
Companies wanted people who telecommute (work from home or on the road a lot) to be able to keep their business machines activated while out of the office.
Please don't get mad ... I use legitimate MAK Key. Just wanted to understand why let a KMS server activate Public IPs of worldwide. thank you alot
Most people have their own network because they use a wireless router to get on the internet. Couldn't you just use run KMS activator on your laptop to activate your desktop, and on your desktop to activate your laptop?
I think apart from the two servers- win8kms4.mooo.com and 147.134.1.42, kms.sjtu.edu.cn is also open now for kms activation..i just ping it. it shows no error.
Just because you get an answer fro a ping does not mean its open, did you try it, did you activate using it????? The answer is NO just like the other posts in this forum regarding that server. It was open for a few hours but then they closed it and made it campus network only. Please read the thread and forum before posting. Thanks BTW the mooo.com and 147 servers are the same one, just thats the URL for that IP
