Srry i may be going Off-topic(Please delete this if you see this as inappropriate) Microsoft now provided direct download links of Windows 8 to some University. I am confused...if these are real Microsoft release for an University, then why the SHA1 matches with the ZWT leaked releases?....I just downloaded the above 32-bit version and guess what the SHA1 checked appears to be B30B7D770F047CF427E836ABC048501EFF8A1FAC which is of the WZT release 32-bit. But Microsoft Professional x32 release for Technet/MSDN users SHA1 is 548AB51161FD83B889596B143D86C1EEB61EF2D0....SO is Microsoft confirming the WZT release to be equivalent????
If you prompt Code: cscript slmgr.vbs /<switch you need> all stays in cmd, so no pop up. Using this only during last time, due to growing hatred against slmgr-popups.... Regards

No, it will stay activated for 180 days from the last time you activated unless you make a hardware change that is big enough to trigger re-activation. After 180 days are over the system will try to activate with the same KMS server you used last time. If it fails you will fall into grace period until you find a KMS server that re-activates your copy. But otherwise it will stay activated for 180 days (minus the days since last activation). If you activated now and then you would simply renew the 180 day period, it won't hurt.
This was discussed earlier when the Wzor release sha1 did not match the msdn one. Caruana had said that this time releases meant for different channels (same edition) had different markers attached to them giving rise to different hashes, unlike as in Windows 7. He'd also said that Wzor had leaked the release meant for the Campus channel. Your observation merely confirms this. And thanks for this, as it confirms that the Wzor release was completely legit and untouched. I remember many people uninstalling their Win8, downloading the public MSDN ISO and re-installing it.
According to slmgr there is no switch to serpress popups. Does anyone know how? EDIT: Ok you just use this Code: //B at the end of your slmgr command and it will not have a popup. For example: Code: slmgr /skms xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx //B will not bring you a popup that norm comes with this command
