Windows 8 KMS Activation

now can anybody tell me what key to use to activate Win8 Pro x64 while installing, and what trick/method/loader to use to activate Win8 after installing it ?
What Do I have to type in CMD to activate Win8 PERMANENTLY ?

 

First, for key check your PM
Second, you can buy key from MS after 26th Oct. No loader is currently available to activate it.
Third, at present the KMS activation is available (which is not permanent as it activate only for 180 days). The KMS activation is safe and secure as in period of 180 days, there will be more server available.

 

No guarantee 180 days in the future. At the very best, KMS servers exposed to the internet will appear and disappear randomly.

 

I am sorry if this is common knowledge here on MDL forums, but... is this KMS activation safe? I mean, who runs these servers? Won't Microsoft be able to detect and ban such activations?

 

The only thing MS can do is turn off the KMS server being used. As for the people that used it to activate, we are safe. There is no way MS can ban or block us if we activated using that KMS server because if tht wasa the case then legit people (ie students and staff) would also be blocked and MS cant do that. If you have activated via KMS dont worry, your safe

 

Due to the fact it´s an universal solution to activate systems against a kms host with legit gvlk keys, what should MS do against it? Deactivate all ? Not that easy as in case of specific MAK or retail keys.
If there is any major change in hardware, activation disappears. So can it be called safe...?
As long as this way works, who cares who is running these servers. In that case seems to be an university or equivalent facility.

Nice coincidence.

 

1) I did run cmd as "Admin"
2) Did it 1 line at a time
3) Replaced the "/" with "-" and still got the error
4) Same problem lol

Try in this form (all stays in cmd, no popups:

slmgr -ipk xxxxx.xxxxx.xxxxx.xxxxx.xxxxx
slmgr -skms xxxxxxxx.xxxxxx..............................
slmgr -ato

If you don't know what key is installed use:

• slmgr -dli

first and you'll get the last 5 digits from the installed key. Be sure that the key used is an GVLK key and NOT and WMC key!

Replace the xxxxx with the real figures, every command end with press Enter and wait confirmation before key in the next command.

Set Date and Time as well as Time zone to your real location and leave Internet Time to the Windows time: time.windows.com

You´re right, my bad, was a bit distracted . Corrected my post. Now it should work.

 

No matter what I do I get the same error after the -skms or /skms command.

 

@ Jimmi3_T can you tell us what error message did you get? or show us an image.

 

I get an Windows Script Host box saying "Error: 500 Variable is undefined (Microsoft VBScript runtime error)"

 

Did you try my form of command?

You can copy to cmd via right click and "Paste".

Yes I did, the only difference was the error didnt "pop up" it said it right in the cmd line instead
