Windows 8 KMS Activation

Seems you have the enterprise evaluation copy installed which only runs for 90 days. Make a clean install with the full version and activate it against the KMS server which is still firing data
For permanent activation, you need to use other method like buying a legal key. KMS is only 180 days and then you need to reactivate against an active server.

If you did a clean install with enterprise, you should be able to activate with KMS.
Run command as ADMIN!
enter slmgr -skms win8kms4.mooo.com and press enter
enter slmgr -ato and press enter
wait for confirmation

before you do this, make sure, your time zone is set to your location and sync time with the internet just in case and you go

 

Something is wrong with your system.
run sfc /scannow in command prompt as admin and wait as it might take a while and then try again my advise of above post

So, dumb question: does that kms only work for Enterprise? Im on Professional x64.

the commands are:
slmgr -skms win8kms4.mooo.com (press Enter and wait for confirmation)
slmgr -ato (press Enter and wait for confirmation)

Please see the corrected input in my previous post. There was a small command missing which gives you the error on both versions, which can be activated via KMS. please excuse this little mistake but I'm an old man

 

dany00711 are you dumb or just stupid. You have been told a number of time KMS only.
If you can get it then go some place else and bug them.

Km still working great just activated 2 more machines

 

Why shame? Pro or enterprise are the more valuable versions of W8 and why take the cheep one when the fruits hang down from the trees

 

Which are the real differences between Pro and Enterprise. Anyone?

 

Wow, finally got it after 4 clean installs. It was my clock all along.

If there are any features which you don't need, simply ignore them but if you like to have a W8 to go, you only can do it with enterprise, Pro doesn't have this feature e.g.
You are not overloaded with a software that slows down your machine. You simply have the max available which Core has not. That's it

edit: What I forgot is, as this is a KMS thread, only enterprise and Pro can be activated via KMS but NO CORE version!

 

So... i had to reinstall windows... and still activated after installing drivers/updates

1. after "were getting your pc ready" screen I activated with kms
2. installed nvidia and intel drivers
3. ran dxwebinstaller/.net installer and basic apps
4. ran windows update and used every update
5. after reboot windows is still activated
