Windows 8 KMS Activation

    No, I had already activated it awhile back (with the benderrodriguez-1-pt.tunnel.tserv28.waw1.ipv6.he.net server over gogo6), just went to add the new kms server and found that something had played with the file associations.

    Tried to change back associations via default programs?

    Switch your DNS servers to google DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

    Pinging does not show, if kms host is open for public activation service. Try to activate via elevated cmd to test.

    Changed back to MS Windows Based Script host? Try running a system file integrety check. Open cmd as admin and type

    sfc /scannow
    . May be it will find something.

There is a system repair pending which requires reboot to complete.  Restart
Windows and run sfc again.

    I didn't tell it to repair anything.:eek:

    Yep, it´s much better to use the right commands :D. Syntax is not negotiable at cmd. Good to hear at least it worked :thumbsup:.

    If using a vl (volume license) version no need to insert key, due to this version comes with key aboard.

    I think, its the settings of your date !!

    It should be 10/04/2013
