    I know it is a dumb question but do I need an internet connectivity to activate Windows 8?

    Yes, there is no offline way right now. Since this is a KMS thread, you must mean via mini kms or others that were used in windows vista/7? Well again answer is no offline solutions yet. Just use the KMS server right now and you will be just fine :D

    Can I activate Windows 8 Pro if I installed Windows Media Center?

    I know what is written in the thread but I couldn't understand it.

    thx worked for me, running windows 8 enterprice but didn't save to .bat just ran it throug comand promt

    Here is what i did... Installed Win7 Pro in to VM, installed KB2691586, installed productkey from txt file, made online activation and KMS seems to be working... i didnt bother with copying any of tokens or pkey files... i need to see now if i can install it in to Win8 Pro or Server 2012...
