Server works fine, but if you don't give us data what you re doing, we cannot help you.
    Is your time zone accurate?
    Did you run as admin?
Did you install the volume key for pro?

Changed files in right places? There is a slight mistake in path value in that pdf:
    Code:
    %SystemDrive%\Windows\ServiceProfiles\NetWorkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareProtectionPlatform\Tokens.dat
    and:
    Code:
    %SystemDrive%\Windows\System32\spp\tokens\pkeyconfig\pkeyconfig.xrm-ms
I had to do this via a ubuntu-live-image, due to no way doing it while system is running.

Sorry, no chance in doing so. You have to setup 25 virtual machines (did myself with 2 machines simultaneously):tea:

Same thing for me. I followed the pdf exactly and it still shows 30 days. I tried 6 different times and had the same result.
    My procedure:
    1. Installed Win 7 pro sp1 x64 using VMware from Win8 pro x64
    2. Installed KB275817 x64, rebooted.
    3. Disconnected the net.
    4. Turned off UAD
    5. Installed the kms key
    6. Applied the uuid.bios change in the VMware .vmx file and saved.
    7. Copy and pasted the supplied tokens.dat and pkeyconfig file to the appropriate locations.
The end result is a grace period.
One thing I noticed is the uuid.bios file keeps changing back to the original values. Should I change the other uuid file.
This is not a must have for me because I have a bunch of keys already but I just like doing this stuff and would like to figure it out.

Did you power off vm, when changing uuid?
How did you change activation files? From inside the system?

Yes, I powered off vm. Should I just reboot the vm win7 install instead? I changed the activation files by browsing to the file location from my Win8 install and overwrote the files. I installed the VMware to my storage HD and navigated to the file locations from my Win8 install.
I am going to try 1 more time. I am currently installing the vm win7 to my F drive from win8 pro.

It might not be the case but when you boot the virtual machine, after changing the uuid, vmware asks you if you moved the vm or copied it, you have to choose "moved it".

Ahh, that might be the problem. I think I chose copied. I just finished the install and will try again. Thanks.
