No this is my uni's server. Still working on mine. Prob is my router. For something like that to work it needs to have a dyndns account put into it and they charge for their services soooooo still trying to find a work around LOL. Till then happy activating
i am able to make it online. My router was on different ip than my modem. So I have to change my router to Access point and forward the port using my ISP modem. And I used no-ip dns. Hope this will work for you
Put your server on DMZ. Then activate Public profile for firewall & just open KMS port. Or set different port for KMS server. Check that same port should not be in use by other program or fall under range of virtual server configured under router for port forwarding.
Server is under DMZ, firewall is turned off on everything including modem and KMS port is opened to the server IP. Still not able to work.
So basically the kms servers- win8kms4.mooo.com, kms.creighton.edu and lunar21.no-ip.org are all same because all when ping in cmd shows its IP to be 147.134.1.42 . But this server kms.dant.net.ru (109.174.76.120) seems to be different.
Mine is currently that one because I took my uni's address offline till I went over a few things. Once I am sure of these things I will bring it back online to my uni's address . As I said in the post I wrote when I took it off line "Till then you can over use the mooo server LOL ". I just redirected my address to the mooo address till later.
Register a accout at D-Link ddns (h**ps://***.dlinkddns.com/signin). its free. now you can use the credentials to login at dyndns.org and setup your free-account.
Thanks everybody, now got my own KMS Server too. The Vm does not have internet acces only local, so how can I make it public or even in a vpn for other people to use?
