    Has anyone received their free WMC keys yet? Is it true that applying a WMC key will permanently activate a previously activated KMS machine?

    Right now I'm hosting the KMS for my extended family's computers...looking for other options :rolleyes:

    Is both the servers win8kms4.mooo.com and kms.creighton.edu are offline because when i ping them everything seems fine! And one of my friend also activated by moo server yesterday.o_O

    Yup mooo is down, 5.102.152.201:1688 is still working though.

    Mate I know we can ping it but you can't activate through that server anymore or at least now.

    How do I use the 5.102.152.201:1688 server to activate ?

    As it is confirmed that servers win8kms4.mooo.com and kms.creighton.edu are down, could anybody summarize the working servers for KMS Activation right now- the Microsoft ones and custom build ones(made by various techies here in MDL)??????????

    I know two of them-
    1. kms.dant.net.ru
    2. lunar21.no-ip.org

    Run CMD as Admin and paste this command:

    slmgr /skms 5.102.152.201:1688
    slmgr /ato

    I can't make it work.. Tried with every KMS and got "error 500" :confused: Any ideas? I've installed the PRO edition..

    It is interesting that mooo was held online for so many weeks just until launch of W8. Perhaps the shutdown has to do with the hurricane and comes back after everything is fixed?

    Yes, I thought about the creighton server. As I have my own server now, I didn't care about it any longer but was just wondering what was happening with it

    My guess is a sudden surge of activation requests due to the MS free WMC key, many people who installed Ent re-installed Pro, ProVl re-install Pro......:eek:
