Years ago, I moderated a medical forum for a period of some months and we always had a mirror running with identical data just in case if such accidents might happen. One day we had a total collaps of the server and we could easily recover from the mirror the next day. I did not expect MDL to not have such security function. OK we blame it on Sandy and try again... lol
There might still be a google cache of the first page. Occasional clean up of a long thread is not necessarily bad, if the first post at least can be recreated.
If someone starts over, S1ave77 should be the one who starts it... hopefully he has a local backup (google cache is useless, bbcode formatting is lost)

@hack You also can change the VHD uuid afterwards Code: "C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox\VBoxManage.exe" internalcommands sethduuid "FILENAME.VHD" 545c51e3-1622-4a23-b30a-3e6befd1aff9 BTW, you also have to change the above VHD uuid in the *.vbox file (2x) after changing it

I mod another forum and we created a forum category called "Trash" and we MOVE there everything that we want to "delete". That way you clean up the forum but you never loose information. This is very useful to avoid this kind of problems.
Cool was just posting the simple solution no .xml and .vbox editing required. I did think about it but as I am new to Vbox was wondering if VBoxManage.exe would work on the portable version.

I see, so this activation backup is not the ones from SoLoR, but new ones we have not seen before. How did you get them? Did you manage to activate against MS's server at some point?
