>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Allready answered: Stay away from these. Puffingmad is right here. If there will apperar an offline activation method, i guess here on MDL we will hear about. I have a little problem and i hope that someone is able to help me out. So here´s what i did so far: 1. i installed Win8 Enterpr. with the xxxx-3667B key. 2. i activated it via kms. everything worked fine. 3. messed around with it, installed all kinds of stuff/crap to test compatibility and accounts. 4. decided that it´s good enough for my daily usage. so here comes the problem: 5. decided that it would be the best to setup the pc again 6. installed it from usb and deleted every partition during installation 7. activated again with the same key (but different kms server) 8. "slmgr.vbs -ato" tells me "product activated successfully 9. but ...and here´s the problem: it didn´t. i still have the watermarks and the "windows license is valid for 9 days in the right corner. any ideas how to fix that?
why is there a key to be used during enterprise installation? Ent has a preset key and you do not have to enter one like on other versions like pro at the beginning of setup
doh, seems that i placed the wrong one on my usb stick. already d/l the proper one. thx everybody for the headsup
Just a thought... If I wanted to replace the win8kms4.mooo.com KMS server that I entered into SLMGR and return it to the default MS KMS server what would I need to do..
Thanks Paul. One other question. I've just installed plain Windows 8 x64 on a Dell laptop not Pro or Enterprise but just "Windows 8" Is this what is called the "Core" version and if so I guess there's no way to activate it unless using a real MS key?
