Why is it that hardly anyone requesting us to test their KMS servers ever post which Timezone to use or is it not necessary to switch your local Timezone to the Timezone where the KMS server resides?
hi it does no matter how the timezone is set. timezone will only be used to set activation and expiry dates. those dates will be adjusted each time u change ur timezone.
Ahhh okay, that makes sense. I recall reading somewhere to switch your TZ to match the TZ of the KMS server which looks like bogus information. I wish people would research what they write
yes i remember that suggestion. the sever was overloaded and someone suggested to adjust tz. i've never changed my tz and i tested all the servers published in this forum, no problem.
Just wondering if the question on the first post in this thread is still correct as there are now a few tried and proved methods of local offline Windows 8 activation:- Question in post 1:- Is there a Mini-KMS server available that I can run on my own machine? Answer No. Is KMSmicro local server activation as in that thread not suitable to be called offline activation?
You can activate offline with KMSmicro and run it in your own machine. If you don't want to go through all the installation hassle, just use one of the many public online KMSmicro posted in the forums, I have one up and running if you want to run some tests: chonkms.no-ip.org

Im waiting on the magnet lint to be posted so I can get my all in one server.....how ever still having trouble in office propack the commands are not there and I dont understand how to make a VL copy when I tried the program just hangs and hangs when reading the .iso file....eeh oh mabye someone will post a 64bit magnet link of that for me as well as I shall seed for weeks!
I finally got activated with one of your servers..I went back like 6 pages from end here and only got 1 to work. I am using the coldzero program as it is easy but only 1 worked...I ran as administrator each time and plugged in the server ip and the port in his program. I will doing more family members but any ideas why only the 1 worked? I can't remember now which one it was that worked. Thanks.
