Thanks for the reply. I'm putting it down now. I'll check all settings and hopefully all things will be ok next time. Thank u very much for your help
from now on I'll be keeping up my KMS server for several weeks (hopefully), feel free to use it at will: chonkms.no-ip.org Thanks
Why is it that hardly anyone requesting us to test their KMS servers ever post which Timezone to use or is it not necessary to switch your local Timezone to the Timezone where the KMS server resides?
hi it does no matter how the timezone is set. timezone will only be used to set activation and expiry dates. those dates will be adjusted each time u change ur timezone.
Ahhh okay, that makes sense. I recall reading somewhere to switch your TZ to match the TZ of the KMS server which looks like bogus information. I wish people would research what they write
yes i remember that suggestion. the sever was overloaded and someone suggested to adjust tz. i've never changed my tz and i tested all the servers published in this forum, no problem.
Just wondering if the question on the first post in this thread is still correct as there are now a few tried and proved methods of local offline Windows 8 activation:- Question in post 1:- Is there a Mini-KMS server available that I can run on my own machine? Answer No. Is KMSmicro local server activation as in that thread not suitable to be called offline activation?
