so the step I must take is : 1. Run the emu on VM 2. Run the batch [cold zero or +25 one ??] on VM so at least I need VM to do the job, i think i can simply run it on the host
KMS host can not be recharged from inside. Faking of 25 different machines, reouesting activation against the host, is needed to start the host activating machines. Running recharge scripts sometimes can cause irritations, so better do it in a VM. Create or start virtual windows in vm, copy KMSmicro to this vm and start it there, then run recharge script and wait for it, till the job is done. Check status of KMSmicro to assure it shows at least 25 activations. Afterwards copy charged KMSmicro back to your real (physical) machine. Done! For further infos check the sticky thread from my signature .
But in case I run out of server count, I can just re-extract the emu and i don't need to recharge right?
The whole point of the charger script(s) is to eighter boost a 0 count host to +25, or keep the count at +25, so it will start to activate clients. When extracting the host after 30 days you will need to recharge it.
It will probably get to the point where a 'mini' KMS is possible, just that the activator is only several megabytes. By that point the mysterious 'Windows Blue' will probably be out (mid, or so, next year), and the whole process can start again!
Guys I've been around Windows activation methods for some time now but all this KMS talk is so confusing. I've activated my copy of Win8 using GUI Activation Helper for Windows 8 Pro & Enterprise by ColdZero and one of the servers provided in this thread. Is this a good method? Can I expect any trouble in future (less than 180days)? Is there an even better method of activation that you guys are waiting on? Thanks in advance for explaining!
Guys care tool with which to determine whether the serial key to activate the trial Winodows 8 or. permanent activation.
Will only be permanent with your own Retail-Key, as WMC-Key is, or MAK. KMS is allways time limited (180 days).
control panel - system - next to windows is activated click and find a new window where you can see either your system is permanently activated or it has a limited time frame of 180 days
