    Win8Pro 64 vl installed, KMS activated per instructions provided in this thread, WMC upgraded with free MS key.. permanently Activated. Thanks to ALL contributors. The only problem I encountered was my time setting was wrong, corrected that and KMS activated 1st try. Also successfully installed Office 2013 64 bit downloaded via Bittorrent, downloading my gmail now via Outlook!

    Quick question, are you downloading gmail via outlook using activesync?

    Jazzar if you need a permanent activation buy a retail key.

    Kms activation (vlk)last only 180 days.

    Nicely presented. Now if that doesn't stop a lot of the repetitive 'how do I activate...' questions I don't know what will.

    You ought to add a link to the VL keys and your post about covers how to activate for everyone.

    Seems to be a problem at your end. Tested twice and both times sucessfully from my Win 8 Pro test client :D.

    says product key is blocked, and the key is a legit win8 pro key :D

    You need a GVLK key to activate against KMS

    If its a legit pro key then you should be able to activate simply by inserting your key and allowing windows to activate and you shouldn't even need a KMS solution

    On another computer, can't legit activate as it gives "exceeded unlock limit" error :mad:
