Have you got your time zone set correctly ?

incorrect time zone seems to be one of the most common problems

When you say "correctly" do you mean to my time-zone? If so the answer is yes, or do i have to set it to some other?

Thank you for your help. I still get the error so it's must be my fault.
I have the time zone set to UTC-1 (which is the right one for where i am) and the time correct.
Which time zone do you have selected?

Set correctly to my own area have you disabled your firewall might be worth a try?

UTC+12 here always seem to be around when everyone else is in bed lol

I do not know why everyone changes the time zone, my default timezone is UTC -3, and never needed to change to activate on any server.
The important thing is to be synchronized with the time, no need to change time zone.

If you are within a range of 4 hours +/- on the UTC time scale, you should be ok. If you synced your time with the internet and cannot activate, there are only few reasons left over: Firewall or hacks**t, wrong key or enterprise eval version ...
edit: of course you need a working KMS host which is essential ... lol

Disabling the firewall and antivirus didn't help. Might be caused by the network i'm currently connected to.
I'll try again tomorrow. I'll be back, thank you for now!

You need to be sure your network is allowing you access to the web

Would say, posting here is a good beginning :D. Is it a restricted network?

I also did not have any issues with time zones at all as I always installed the OSes off the first setup-page with my time/currency settings. Later, during any activating procedure, I never was bothered with adjustments. Out in the wild, I can imagine, that the youngsters eagerly install any available W8s, skipping everything needed for future application and wonder, why nothing works. I only can recommend to slowly read and understand what you are doing and you will have no problems, even when trying to activate your new W8 :D
