U see hyper-v as a computer on network? router? The problems I've seen so far was by misconfiguration of virtual machines.
I have been successful in running KMSmicro 3.10 on server 2012 while also running Hyper-v. I was able to activate locally, but I have been unable to activate using the internet.
Yes, I have several other vm running and can access them without difficulty. I can't get the mini kms to even boot. What configuration do you use?
By activate I mean activate other machines with win 8 and office. I tested it locally with computers on my home network and on the internet opening it to public activation. I used port checker and it showed the port open, but it would not activate.
You cant check public activation using your external ip or NO-IP adress, u need ask to other user test teh activation with your IP. You can only test local and network activation. If u put your server on now i can test it for you.
I checked it publically by posting on MDL and it was inaccessible. I will try again later, now at UTC +7 it's Sat morning and I am off to work. Thanks for your offer, I will take you up on it later.
This is a thread about activating windows 8, not about whether we like windows 8 or not. And anyway, what do i care if a bunch of people on the internet do or do not like windows 8? what a useless comment!
It's obvious to me that half of these Windows 8 'haters' obviously have not went through what Windows 8 can offer.
