Why is everyone fussing around with online activation when it's so simple to make your own KMS server? Just thinking and asking.
Thanks to everyone. I got 3 replies and all worked out great. Was able to activate server 2012 dc for 180 days. Valid till May 2013. Hope by that time DAS would release a new loader for Window 8 operating system including server as well.
Due to the nature of the differences between how OEM activation works on Windows 7 and Windows 8, a loader of the type we had for Windows 7 is impossible in Windows 8. Don't hold your breath There may be a different solution in the future, but for now your best bet is KMS.
run a program, press T, click ok, and right click a file is definitely an acquired talent -ed- just for reference, my mother (72) figured out KMSMicro v3.00 from 5000 miles away hehe
It doesn't matter what key you install with. The "slmgr /ipk" command happily replaces it, so Xsakorov's problem is elsewhere. @Xsakorov: First of all, do say what the error codes are in the message you are getting. (Something like 0x2a 0xc00... etc, what is it?) Secondly, type "slmgr /dlv", take a screenshot of the resulting window and post it for us to see. Then people can help you better.
agree with you but mostly, the "non core" blabla appears when a wrong key was used at setup, so ... edit: some funny things turned out by experience that hacktivation maybe was around or other wired stuff which I don't want to see ... lol
