I just got server 2012 core hyper-v kms setup and it activate locally. Would you please check for public activation.

Putting my Windows 8 Pro/Enterprise KMS server back up for a day or two...no office activations, just Windows 8.

To all who are posting new kms server be sure you are not using your real ip.No-ip doesnt hides your real ip.use vpn if you want to make your server public.I dont think you want MS to come to your door step.

 

finally got my vpn working! my server should now be up and running behind a vpn.
it should also be online 24/7 for windows 7, 8 and office 2010 and 2013 activations.

Tested Windows 8 yesterday (gaved it another chance) but i don't like it and reverted back to Windows 7 on my old machine from 2006. Windows 7 is much faster for my older machine (T2400, 2GB ram and 100GB) and with Windows 8 the boot time is just stupid, first i see a black screen for a few seconds, then i see a lock screen and need to put my code in there and then i need to press on desktop. Windows 7 is just my favorite and i can't stand that stupid Metro thing. I tested 8 before and i hated it back then but i really wanted to see how easy 8 was to activate with a kms server hosted by someone else (good job all).

I was more supprised @ what happend after, i activated 8 by KMS from a server created by a user. Then i used the free offer from Microsoft to convert my Pro to Pro-MCE and my license status got changed to RETAIL. I checked everything and used almost all programs and it said my Windows 8 activated (retail channel) and didn't need any re-activations. Also my reactivation/rearm count was set for 1000 (i even removed/disabled the KMS).

 

How can we create KMS servers like this ? XXXXX no-ip.org . I am not mentioning about Virtual machine server for my local PC. Any tutorials available?

means that after permanent Activation (free Upgrade Key), KMS will not work or if work it will not affect permanent Activation ?

 

Works further on, but seems not affect permanent activation, as repeatedly tested.

 

how do you check,? Do you just ping? If i ping the address it says request timed out
