Commands have to be used that way: Code: cscript slmgr.vbs /skms kms.cc.columbia.edu cscript slmgr.vbs /ato
I tried several times and used slave77's helpful script but no luck. Same message saying no KMS could be contacted.
didn't know that you have any antivirus, yes turn it off. leave defender and windows firewall as is. If firewall is 3rd party turn it off as well
I have such a feeling that there is something wrong with your installation. We never had such problems with a single "customer" do a sfc /scannow in CMD as admin. Your machine is out of the normal state. Anything must be there ...
From screenshot and his description it looks to me as completely wrong syntax for activation commands. In that case Activation Helper could do the job.
if it doesn't run out of the command box, why should it do in the helper? edit: OK if syntax is incorrect > malfunction
Should exclude syntax errors at his end. If not working either, he has a bigger problem to solve. But maybe we let him answer this...?
guys. I looked at act helper and tried to ping servers but it kept saying request timed out. Is that anything?
Pinging doesn´t show server is on in every case . Code: kms.cc.columbia.edu is down atm. Code: lunar21.no-ip.org is definitly on.
when I run the '-ato command: log files shows that a software protection service starts and runs a licensing status check among other things. Could that be something?
