Got Eldi running: it says:

I have a purchased win 8 key i obtained from the win 8 upgrade. When attempting to mannualy activate Office 2013 VL, I accidentally did the following commands from inside the windows\system32 directory.

slmgr -skms IP
slmgr.vbs -ato

Did these commands affect my windows 8 activation in any way and if so, how do i revert back to the Microsoft -skms IP?

Any public KMS servers available for Office 2013 activation . Servers like kms.cc.columbia.edu , not any local created one

 

Paul, i tried your suggestion to do a sfc /scannow = no problems

 

meanwhile I had some sleep but it seems you are still with your problem. I read about your issue this morning and I have no idea except doing a new clean install. Whatever done to your system is responsible for the malfunction.

 

First disable Host caching by running "slmgr /ckhc". Then stop service run "net stop sppsvc"
Browse to c:\windows\system32\spp & delete everything under Store folder(enable viewing of hidden files before deletion).
start service by running "net start sppsvc"
Install KMS client key "slmgr /ipk"
slmgr /skms xxxxx
slmgr /ato
