What is the right procedure to activate Windows 8 Enterprise 64-bit (MSDN and not RTM versions)? Thanks Bye
If his install was converted to RETAIL then his Activation would also be RETAIL. he should check win key + X chose as command prompt as admin .... bad habit type slmgr.vbs -dli an see if he is Permanent Activated .... also seems that he never read any of the info provided by M$ that is accepted then he would be PERMANENT RETAIL Activated ...
Copy the Exe to Windows directory and open administrative CMD. Call the tool with: Code: "KMS Client.exe" 1688 jbiz1.no-ip.org Windows "KMS Client.exe" 1688 jbiz1.no-ip.org Office2010 "KMS Client.exe" 1688 jbiz1.no-ip.org Office2013 Just used one adress as example, change it to the one you want to test. BTW: No `Sir` here, it´s more appropriate for my father i guess .
What OS is this run on? That error usually gets thrown if you have Windows 2000 and try to execute an application which specifies Windows NT 5.1 (XP) as minimum OS in its PE header.

Don´t have XP here, can´t test therefore. EDIT: found my XP ISO . Can confirm, old version is running, but the updated one refuses to work. Getting the same error here . Hopefully you stored first version.

Cant tell for the other servers that are out there but for mine both are working: Code: lunar21.no-ip.org is for All Windows and Servers, Office 2010 and Office 2013 and is set to UTC Code: lunar21.no-ip.org:80 is for All Windows and is set to UTC+2 Cairo
There are none that "Collects" a list. most out there has a feature to add KMS servers for that program to try but from what I know there are none that "collect".
