Windows 8 KMS Activation

It's hard, when just a simple man like myself, to deal with such geniuses....
So this may come as a surprise.... but the reason I want to check, is to see if THE DAMN THING WORKED IN THE FIRST PLACE.

One might think said geniuses could figure that out for themselves, but I guess logic gets lost in the rush to post snide comments.

One could use Activation Helper v1.5 to "Check status" and determine the time remaining since the last activation. We don't use it for activation anymore but it's good for this purpose ...T

Right-o, that one really does the trick. Checking tonight, it tells me I have 178 days left, telling my that my "re-up" worked, and that it is counting down normally, as it's been 2 days since I re-upped...

I'm pretty sure you can check your activation in action center-> windows activation

 

It (action center-> windows activation ) says only that windows is activated.

 

If you click the hyperlink for activation details, in case of KMS activation it will show the date when period ends.

 

Action center->windows activation ->view activation details

 

Yanno, I'm really not that stupid. For whatever reason, mine shows no such details... or else I would not have been asking for a tool to show me said info.

 

Anybody knows if I need setup bypass key when installing the win8 VL?

 

If it is pro or enterprise you can just use the GLVK (KMS key)

 

I have just installed pro, trying to activate with different reliable servers in vain. After last command it takes longer than usual and responds with Error 0xC004OF074. When I ping the server it responds. Other than most times when I do installations, this time I had installed all updates before I went on to activating. Could system update be a reason for these failed activation attempts?

 

what host u use, ping usually not good enough, try kms emulator or tell m e what host u use i try if server up or not

 

I tried these hosts:
osfp7g7.mooo.com
osfpg7.no-ip.org
lunar21.no-ip.org

Should I keep trying different hosts? I assume after these 3 that something else might be wrong..

Edit: Tried yet another host and it worked (win8kms4.mooo.com) -- There was no reason for me to panic.

I have my server most of the time closed cause it's easier to activate now with Microsoft Toolkit !!! But if someone would like to activate with an online server just pm me to open it !!!!
