Thanks for the reply. Can it be used as a KMS emulator for win 8? Is that what you meant?

Hi guys. Forgive me if this has been asked before. Like many, I went the kms route, which for me ends I guess in April.

My question is, do I need to do anything special first, or can I merely re-run the kms thing and relax for another 6 months...???

    Thanks.

Simply re-run to extend the validity.

    Thanks man, appreciate the answer.
Is there a tool people use to determine exactly when one's activation is up..??

    Thanks.

Thanks for such an extremely helpful response.
My goal was to find something that would compare what something, like say a calendar, would say, to what win8 itself would say.... the latter being, er, somewhat more relevant....

    Thanks.

Windows edition - Windows 8 Enterprise Evaluation

    and on Windows Activation:
    Window is activated

a noob question why on the Windows edition it says Evaluation and on the Windows activation it says activated, please enlighten me.

It's hard, when just a simple man like myself, to deal with such geniuses....
So this may come as a surprise.... but the reason I want to check, is to see if THE DAMN THING WORKED IN THE FIRST PLACE.

One might think said geniuses could figure that out for themselves, but I guess logic gets lost in the rush to post snide comments.

One could use Activation Helper v1.5 to "Check status" and determine the time remaining since the last activation. We don't use it for activation anymore but it's good for this purpose ...T

    Thanks for your post!

Could you tell me what kind of KMS server are you using?
I Tried to send you PM but I don't know if it succeeded (no message in sent items..).

    Have a nice day.

Right-o, that one really does the trick. Checking tonight, it tells me I have 178 days left, telling my that my "re-up" worked, and that it is counting down normally, as it's been 2 days since I re-upped...

    Thanks mate.
