I'll try tomorrow, it's my friend's computer. I tried there SFC /SCANNOW and it was ok. And what next with the result of MGADiag?
yep, even in my old days I still learn. Honestly I never dealt with Enterprise during W7 days and before. Only was on Ultimate and activated by bios modding ( beside technet keys ) which all worked flawlessly and even do today on machines that I took care of years ago. W8 times have changed and so far methods have changed quite a bit
Bye bye KMS. Lot of things are going to be different by end of August, if on schedule... "always not". Till then (no matter when) stick with blue beta licks which they will be rapid, till new shining blue, starting from 72$ at the amazon. After all, Bill & Melinda need $1.8 billion for a good reason!.
Probably he meant that as win8 vanilla took care of the loader loophole, 8.1 will take care of the kms loophole as well.
Microsoft didn't kill off loaders with Windows 8, but the keys the loader uses. They did that to prevent BIOS mods, loaders and even real OEM systems from easily gaining access to any edition of Windows by entering a static OEM key. The current KMS emulator could easily be killed off by a Windows update if Microsoft were to update it's protocol. If they will is yet to be seen so don't buy into any FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt).
Optimistic pessimism or pessimistic optimism ... whatever the case, I'm hoping for the status quo from MS... Thanks to the entire MDL contributors for all the great resources and updates!
Yep, for a good reason. MS can´t change it generally, only verify which way it´s used, e.g. activating against localhost. As CODYQX4 stated, that can be prevented by generating specific ePIDs and using VMs instead of rerouting to localhost . Altogether there will most probably be a way to solve upcomming problems...the race simply continues.
And that's how it should be, even in the computer world. Bay the way, did anyone notice that more and more big names in laptop business, pushing the products with DOS ready, instead of an operating system? I was wondering what they do that. Maybe we should say goodbye RTM !!! Maybe!!!...but as I said above... "Hope Dies Last"
ah, I see, this is the old German company which was founded by Hollerith these days. Yes DOS is quite a nice unit to be used after RTM
