Thanks, can't try it at the moment though (not home) ... but is it possible to activate if you're already activated and get another 180 days? Or do i have to wait until activation runs out first?

 

You can do at any time you feel like

Recommend using Microsoft Toolkit by CODYQX4 instead of dubious tools from elsewhere.

 

Guys, please try the following servers and let me know if they are alive or not. ( I can Ping them fine, but i just wana ask those of you who were looking to ReActivate your OS for another 6 months).

Windows can not be activated using KMS server

I'm having problems with Windows 8 Activation using KMS.

Whenever I run the following code in Command Prompt (It is run using Administrator i.e. 'Run as administrator')

Code:

slmgr.vbs -ipk <key>

I get the following error

Code:

Error: 0x80070005 Access denied: the requested action requires elevated privileges

When I run the following code

Code:

slmgr /skms <kms-server>

There is no error

But when I run the following code

Code:

slmgr.vbs -ato

I again get the following error

Code:

Error: 0x80070005 Access denied: the requested action requires elevated privileges

Note: All the commands are carried out in command prompt with elevated privileges (It is run using Administrator i.e. 'Run as administrator')


slmgr.vbs /dlv command gives

you have installed any crappy antivirus software?

 

I have Avast Free Edition and I also have Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Paid version.

 

so go and disable them both and try again

what if you simply run MTK as you have VL version installed?

 

After running the MTK Tool I'm getting the following

The language version of W8 certainly has nothing to do with activation process. I assume some major bug at your end as this is very unusual and never heard about this behavior in any way since

 

So what should I do? Can you recommend me anything?
Can it be a virus or a malware?
