    I'm sorry for a probably stupid questions, I'm new in this field (activation etc.), I've been searching the entire first post and I can't find anything about blocking, stopping, calling, phone-home packets etc.

    So how to block those phone-home packets? How to stop Windows from calling home?

    Is it also related to the activation by Microsoft Toolkit? Or just KMS?

    Hello, for a test lab, is it possible to install MTK on 1 hyper-v vm, and then point all other vm clients to this VM for activation?

    Yep, install 'KMSServerService' from same dropdown menu where 'AutoKMS' is found.

    Sorry if this is the wrong forum, to post this follow up question, but while building out my 2012R2 Hyper-v test lab, I found that you can use AVMA to activate my 2012R2 guests. Is there any privacy concerns with using AVMA for activation? instead of installing the KMSServerService on the host?

    Not really; you can safely use AVMA if the host is KMS activated.

    Are there anymore working KMS online servers for Windows 8.1 Update 1?

    whwebsolution.no-ip.org is not working anymore.

    Precisely because servers can go offline anytime I advise to use a local KMS solution.
