Turned off Windows Defender, Turned Off Windows Firewall, Turned off MalwareBytes. Still same problem. Never had issues with them before either.
Not having those problems till now, doesn't mean they can appear. Seems MS and the big AV corps are working on that constantly.
Little answer about activation: Windows 8.1 Pro, is activated with latest KMS Pico. Activation expires on 26th May 2014. What next? Just run KMS Pico again , or uninstall KMSP, install again, and run?
That seems to indicate that something isn't working correctly . Did you use the installer or the portable version?
Hi Is there any KMS server available for 180 days activation at the moment ? MTK is only providing 45 days grace period , but MTK is a wonderful invention.I don't want to install any KMS service locally
I recently upgraded my system to Pro with WMC gvlk now i'm waiting for some luck (online KMS), does that mean i can use online KMS if i added one more language pack ?
As the online servers (if any available though) are KMS Emulators mostly, you won't gain a longer activation grace for ProfessionalWMC. It's a glitch in the KMS protocol (a real KMS Host will refuse to activate ProWMC/Core) which the Emulators exploit with the little restriction of 45 days. Install AutoKMS wich creates task for reactivation every StartUp/LogOn/24hrs so the grace won't drop beneath 44 days .
So I got a few of questions about Windows 8 activation. I read that unlike Windows 7( which had DAZ loader), Windows 8 has no permanent activation methods and that we use something called KMS activator to get around the licensing procedure.(I don’t even know what KMS stands for ) So that’s my first question- What is KMS activator and AutoKMS activator? Is it something like a trial resetter? Then, second big question, how do I actually activate Windows 8? For 7, It was like, download the correct copy(x86 or x64), burn to DVD, Install, Run the Loader. Done. What are the steps for this one?(Any links, topics??) Last question, what is pre-activated Windows 8? Saw some torrents titled so from Murphy78. Bear with me, if I sound like a complete noob.
KMS is Key Management Service. It's a method for companies to activate hundreds or thousands of clients without each client phoning home to Microsoft. To prevent employees bringing in machines to activate and enjoying a free activation through their employer, the activation is not permanent and has to be renewed periodically. Normally, the company activates one or more specific server(s) to act as a KMS. This activation is permanent and done by contacting Microsoft. These servers can then activate clients. KMS emulators, well, emulate a KMS server so you can activate clients yourself. This activation is only possible on so called VL clients, meaning volume license. So you need either Win8 Professional VL (notice there is also a normal Professional integrated into the multi-edition DVD) or Enterprise which only comes as VL and thus is never called Enterprise VL.
