That would be correct for a real KMS Host, whereas the Emulators will activate all Win 8/8.x versions (even Core and ProfessionalWMC) .
I used that KMS activator to activate the Windows 8.1 Update one and Office 2013 SP1, both in x64 bit version but today early morning, my Windows Defender threw up an warning :'( Code: h**p://i61.tinypic.com/14vgpyf.jpg Windows still says its activated, so is office.. What effect it would have in my system ??
Thank you for the advice. I had the same message, and I saw that it mentioned Autokms. I added it as an exception in Windows Defender. I have now added the folder \Windows\AutoKMS as an exception. It is very reassuring to get the advice of all the experts on this forum. The amount of junk about these days seems to be on the increase. I am constantly having to warn my friends about all the fake emails coming from power and telephone companies threatening that supplies will be cut off, when I know they are fully paid up on Direct Debit.
Useful information,i will share with my friends, but i bought one cheap good key from the website my friends recommended to me,until now it still works very well !
Hi Guys, I've activated my Win 8.1 x64 via AutoKMS. Its been quite sometime, I've heard that licenses expire after 180 days, and then AutoKMS re-activates it automatically. Is it true? I'm asking this is because, everytime I switch on my PC, I get a notification saying that it will expire soon. Will AutoKMS reactivate it automatically or am I supposed to do something?
I depends on which KMS you used. then it depends if you allowed the Schedule to be Active or not. also you can chek to see what time is left.. most of the KMS also have a License Checker that give you time left, or just use the KMS again an Reactive now. you also can validate your Activation with VAMT 3.1
You can check the activation grace left in admin command prompt with: Code: cscript slmgr.vbs /dlv AutoKMS should reactivate you normally. In case it's failing create exclusion in your Antivirus for C:\Windows\AutoKMS folder, then uninstall it and reinstall.
Typical answer Tito: I want a clean KMS with no files / registry mods as KMS emulators do, but they don't realize those KMS servers could be offline at any moment...
Sorry, actually my question should have been more specific. My concern is more about if I use MTK or KMS pico to activate W8.1 or Office, will they run a kms server on my system for that or will they apply a more light method? I 'd like to avoid facing the first post statement: What does EZ-activator from MTK actually do (in detail)?
@freMea KMS emulators have evolved to the point that they consume very little resources on the host PC. It is no longer necessary to run a KMS server in a virtual machine. Heck, there are even KMS emulators that run under Linux and you can install them in a router, NAS device, RaspberryPI, or even a TV tuner box.
