Windows 8 KMS Activation

Is it possible to activate Windows 8.1 by using activators inside a VM? What I mean is that not having to run activator directly on the Windows 8.1 but instead running it inside a VM to activate physical machine. Is this possible?

 

Indeed possible. Install KMSServerService of Microsoft Toolkit in your VM.

Add Firewall rules (in admin command prompt):

Ok cool thanks. Now I remember someone told me there was a way, to like install windows 8.1 to a disk, activated, and all my usual programs like adobe and office, so that it would all install along with windows so i would have to install it everytime?

What is that called? And any guides to do it?

Where can I download the win 8.1 sp1 update, so i can save it to my external hard drive and not have to download it every time i reinstall windows? Can i download all updates like this somehow so i have them on hand?
