BIOSNOIDEA: the instruction is crystal clear. It said the KMS host key has not been released, thus any offline KMS solution won't work for now. Why don't you check basic KMS concepts so you can be sure what you are doing.
It is taking long waiting for the KMS Servers to be online.. anyway to reset trials for Windows 8 after rearms?
It doesn't work like that, you need the exact same hardware configurations as the person who activated.
Nope, need identical hardware. Even with the same hardware in another PC, it wouldn't be identical since the mac address (which is unique for each NIC) is taken into consideration when generating the hardware ID. Yeah but it's fine as long as you're legit. I've had to call MS for Win 7 a few times but it's an automated response and gets you activated in a few minutes.
Cool idea. It's possible to change mac adress and i'm sure it's possible to make Windows 8 think that you have other hardware.
I don't understand the point of looking at 'spoofing' your hardware ID's to match a machine that is activated. The most any machine is activated for is 180 days so far, and the servers that activated these machines have been taken offline and most likely will not be around when the 180 days are up. The people who are renowned for their activators for Win7/Vista/XP are all quiet at the moment as they know until we start seeing some legitimately activated machines out there, together with news/info on leaked KMS keys then there's no point in wasting energy TechNet/MSDN subscribers start getting their stuff next week, so that is a start, but it may not be until around the official release where the activation workaround process is a lot busier. What I'm trying to say is that suggestions I'm seeing in this thread such as "make an .iso of an activated machine and use that on mine" or "backup the activation on one machine and apply it to another" - if it was as simple as that it would have been done already!!
You will not be killed when trying to find way to activate leeked OS so... If you don't like that, it's better to not say that at all...
I do changed my mac several times to play online games !! dont think it must have to be unique. and something is better than nothing !! 180 days activation aint so bad !!
thats why asked, anyway to change hardware id or makewin 8 to think of same hardware !! there are lots of good programmer and coders. I Am sure everything is possible if people try . well...its just came to my mind. I aint coder or programmer !! I have 0 knowledge about these things!! but ..since mac can be changed,so I thought ...that !!
No offense guys, but do any of you believe that people would have been trying to circumvent activation for the past few years if something as simple as restoring the activation state on different hardware or changing the MAC address had even the slightest chance of working? Don't you think something like that would have come up for Windows XP? Vista? 7? Think about that for a moment, then we perhaps we can stop this pointless discussion and get back on-topic.
