    lol. its funny how desperate people are to activate win8. so much that a lot of people are willing to run just about any random exe that says it will activate win8 having no idea what it is really doing in the background. they figure that if a virus scanner doesnt know about it then it must be safe. lol. sorry i dont mean to troll I just think its funny how many fakes are out there.

    I tried the password with the RAR, and it does not work at all. I also believe this is a fake Russian Windows 8 activation file.

    Windows Defender doesn't recognize it as a virus

    I was going to transfer to my Win8 tablet via gmail but it flagged the file as a virus. Creating a virtual machine with windows 8 to see what this file does...

    Just tried. The first button link to a russian site, the second install a browser or something similar, and I didn't try the third.

    The second button is "Save", the first "Launch" (I think "Go to the site") and the third "Cancel"

    Does offline activation using Hyper-V with a KMS VHD work? I saw it on the first page of this thread.
