i have ipv6 at home and pass the ipv6 test 10/10 (test-ipv6.com) kms doesnt work for me. i get this error: Error: 0xC004F074 The Software Licensing Service reported that the computer coul d not be activated. No Key Management Service (KMS) could be contacted. Please s ee the Application Event Log for additional information. i can ping the address and get a response, also disabled the firewall. not sure what else to try?
The question now is, will I be able to install Windows 8 before the server goes down... OMG I GOTTA HURRY!!!
Works on Windows 8 Enterprise, finally activated . Should I have to run this command 'slmgr /ckms' to be sure when this KMS server goes down, my windows is still activated?
For people with problems, stop using the CMD and try to activate in Volume Activation Management Tool .
a good question, and if this command "slmgr / ckms" put the server down or have different command such as the beginning of the command is to enable this "cscript"?
Confirmed guys! It's working! Off course you need a Ipv6 to work. Super easy to do that, by the way.... So, YES, IT'S WORKING!
