Right, people need to start listening. If you cannot ping the address (this must be the first thing you do) then your ISP doesn't have IPv6 (most ISP's don't). That means you need a tunnelbroker like GoGo6 (probably the best solution for the time being). This will give you temporary IPv6 capability. Once setup (the default settings are fine), you need to go into your network adaptors IPv4 (not IPv6) and set your DNS servers to 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4. The reason for this is a lot of people use the default ISP DNS servers, and if your ISP doesn't have IPv6 support, then their DNS servers won't either. This is needed so that long address to the KMS host can be translated into a IPv6 IP address. Once that's all done and setup and you can ping the KMS server address then you can try activating with the slmgr.vbs commands. If the Activation's don't work, then you need to check if your computers clock to make sure it's in sync with the internets. You may also need to change your time zone to a European country or something even further like India. Another thing like I mentioned in a previous post. Even though I could do all the above, I could not activate via the command line, so I needed the Volume Activiation Management Tool and it worked first time round when I put in the server address. I know what I've wrote is not a step by step guide but this does take some thinking. There is a reason this is a IPv6 address only and that's because it's a lot harder to track the host down.
Yes ... got it! Now got my tablet activated as well as a spare desktop! Had to fiddle with the DNS as written above ... Thanks and good luck to everybody with this!!
Dude, how hard can it be? The correct time zone is whatever time zone you're in, and the correct date and time is whatever your current date and time is. It doesn't get any easier than that.
