you can modify registry settings to fool the win8 install dvd into thinking you're running win8 pro, then do a repair install

i believe the only key it checks is hkeylocalmachine/software/microsoft/windowsnt/currentversion ==> editionid

Best option is to Re-install Win 8 and try again.

funny, I didn't have to set all that time zone crap when I activated the pro version the second time after trying to put wmc on.. booted up, went into command, entered the patches and wah-la! so is setting the time zone even necessary?

    Did you run this first?
    slmgr.vbs -ipk XXXXX_XXXXX_XXXXX_XXXXX_XXXXX
replace the X's with the proper key for Enterprise or pro or what ever version you are using

I can confirm this works follow these steps:

    Download GoGo6 client from

    api.ning.com/files/eTQek6oePnyf09jlLkAAW4a-kmGIPcck3HM13gtCQib3eoGx9KaoLLlm5DuufWnrx5b1irL5pXkT0feqbBiA2aPjgUwoSrUS/gogoc1.2RELEASEwin64.exe (x64)

    api.ning.com/files/eTQek6oePnyKxo4A4xnjAqlL--jue7OrZTywOyNFUEkGLmLsqQLT7dmVedGNEPUmRvEyVbcm-Bq0T1Q-fyLhWi-ctbx52DSn/gogoc1.2RELEASEwin32.exe (x32)

set your dns servers in network settings to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

    Run GoGo6 Client

then open cmd line in Administrator mode and type in

    slmgr /skms benderrodriguez-1-pt.tunnel.tserv28.waw1.ipv6.he.net and then

    slmgr /ato

Wala your now activated. Sorry for the unorganized post Internet Explorer 10 wouldnt allow me to press enter lol so I had to use Google Chrome!
